Peter Kelley, DVM
I grew up the youngest of six siblings in a small town in Connecticut. After college and a brief stint working in Manhattan, I attended the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. During Vet school I played intramural hockey at Mariucci Arena and became a huge Gopher Hockey fan. After graduating from Vet School in 1996, my soon to be wife and classmate, Teresa Nolte and I decided we wanted to settle down and raise a family in St. Paul. Teresa and I worked together for a number of years at a very large, progressive practice in the suburbs that allowed us to hone our medical and surgical skills prior to purchasing Midway Animal Hospital.
Teresa Nolte, DVM
I grew up on a farm in northwestern Minnesota. Animals were always an important part of my life. I had many pets growing up including dogs, cats and horses and wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember. I attended the University of North Dakota (Go Sioux!!) as an undergraduate and then was accepted into Veterinary School at the University of Minnesota (I guess I'm a Gopher Fan now). Peter (Dr. Kelley) and I met in Veterinary School. We both graduated in 1996 and were married that summer. We decided to make St. Paul our home and we now have two little Gopher Hockey fans and our own Veterinary Clinic in a great St. Paul neighborhood.
